Staff Profile - Howard Morris

Professor Howard Morris was appointed as Director of the Hanson Institute in June 2003.
Professor Morris has an in-depth knowledge of the clinical and laboratory research on the campus having spent a number of years as Medical Scientist in the Division of Clinical Biochemistry between 1982 and 2000 and in senior positions in the Hanson Administration since that time. He has close contacts and collaborations with the University of Adelaide as well as both nationally and internationally.
His excellent record of contribution to research has placed him as a leading figure internationally in the field of hormonal influence on modelling of the skeleton.
As Director, Professor Morris heads a team of some of the brightest minds in South Australian medical research who collaborate to bring fundamental scientific discoveries into clinical practice.
