FEATURED PROJECT

Cytokine Lab

Cytokine Receptor Laboratory

A major aim of our work is to understand the function of an important family of protein hormones called cytokines that allow communication between various types of cells.
Cytokines regulate the activities of a broad range of blood cell types and some of these activities are associated with diseases such as blood cell cancers and inflammatory diseases. We are using our knowledge of cytokine function to direct the development of drugs that can control or modify undesirable cytokine function.
