Workplace Giving
Workplace Giving is one of the simplest, most tax and cost effective ways to donate to a great cause; helping us find cures and better treatments for cancer and other diseases.
How Does It Work?
By donating through your workplace, you get the tax deduction instantly. There is no need to send in a donation, no need for receipts, which saves you time, paperwork and money!
What do I need to do?
Check with your employer's payroll department to see if they offer a workplace giving program. If YES, simply fill out a workplace giving authorisation form and send to your payroll department.
If they don't, why not suggest for your workplace to get involved with workplace giving today. Ask them to contact the RAH Research Fund on 8222 5281 for more information.
How do I Benefit?
It's tax deductable: Donations over $2 are tax deductable. Because your workplace giving donations are made before tax, your donation will reduce your taxable income.
-
No administration fees: 100% of your donation will go towards the Hanson Institute.
-
It's so easy: Complete the workplace giving authorisation form and send it to your payroll manager with a copy to us and your regular donation will be paid to the Hanson Institute.
-
It makes a difference: Giving regularly allows us to plan in advance which projects we can fund. At the same time, we can reduce operating costs such as postage and stationary.
How Does my Employer Benefit?
It demonstrates community spirit
-
It shows positive public relations
-
It will contribute to staff morale and loyalty
-
Attract quality employees who look for community minded employers.

Matched Giving
Does your organisation provide matched giving?
Matched giving programs are when organisations provide dollar matching for employee's cash donations, including workplace giving, fundraising activities and/or employee's time. For example, if an employee donates pre-tax, $25 a fortnight to the Hanson Institute, so will the organisation.
Simply by asking your employer about "matched giving", your donations could double!

In Memory
Gone but Never Forgotten
It is always sad when a loved one or friend dies. The loss affects us deeply and we long for meaningful ways to express our sympathy and condolences to the family.
For many, traditional flowers are used at this time. Unfortunately, their beauty fades within a few days.
Memorial Gifts to the Hanson Institute provide a lasting way to express our sympathy and condolences to the family, while honouring the life and memory of a loved one. Each gift is receipted promptly and the next of kin notified that a memorial gift has been received.
To find out more about Memorial Gifts please contact the RAH Research Fund on (08) 8222 5281 or email us at RAH.researchfund@health.sa.gov.au

In Celebration
Weddings, birthdays, christenings, parties, anything!
Anything that is traditionally celebrated with the giving of gifts can be a double celebration when you choose to give to the Hanson Institute instead of receiving presents from your friends and family. The RAH Research Fund has special donation gift cards available for such occasions.
Please telephone (08) 8222 5281 for more details.

Donations in Kind
Without 'in kind' donations, our job to raise funds for the Hanson Institute would be just that little bit harder.
The Research Fund and Hanson Institute rely heavily on pro bono professional services and the donation of goods in kind such as prizes, catering and event production services is vital to our success.
If you, or your company would like to assist by making a donation in kind, please telephone (08) 8222 5281. Don't forget to ask about the option of a tax-deductible receipt for your Goods in Kind donation.
