All donations received by the Hanson Institute are banked through the RAH Research Fund. All donors are thanked and receive an official receipt. All gifts are used in accordance with the donor's wishes.

Donations
Gifts may be made in support of specific projects or research activities. Gifts may be made in cash, by cheque or credit card. Pledge gifts may be established for monthly, periodic or annual giving. On-line Donations are also welcome.
The Research Fund provides pathways for giving. Funds are established for donations to specific areas of interest e.g. cancer, neurological diseases or cardiac.

Direct Debit by Credit Card
Direct Debit is an easy and simple way to donate to the Hanson Institute.
You can make a direct debit by printing out the DONATION FORM and faxing the completed form to (08) 8222 5932.

Regular Giving
Regular giving is an easy and simple way to donate regularly to the RAH Research Fund.
It is the continued support from members of our community that is vital to ensure the RAH Research Fund is able to continue to provide a high level of medical research.

Workplace giving is a simple way for you to regularly donate to the RAH Research Fund from your gross pay (before tax).
Employees Benefits of Workplace Giving
- Donations $2 and over are tax deductible.
- Donations made are pre-tax, so you will receive the benefit of an immediate tax deduction from your pay.
- There are no administration fees.
- Your employer will provide you with a statement along with your group certificate for the total amount you have donated within that financial year.

Ask if your company makes 'matching donations'. This is a system where your employer matches your own donation.
In Memorium
Many families choose to leave a donation to the Hanson Institute in lieu of flowers at the funeral of a loved one. Donation envelopes can be sent to the Funeral Director who ensures they are available at the service. Each person who makes a gift in this way is sent a receipt, and the family is sent a letter advising a list of all who have given in memory of their loved one. In Memorium donations can be specified to a particular area of specialty.

In Celebration
Weddings, birthdays, christenings, parties, anything!
Anything that is traditionally celebrated with the giving of gifts can be a double celebration when you choose to give to the Hanson Institute instead of receiving presents from your friends and family. The RAH Research Fund has special donation gift cards available for such occasions.

Donations in Kind
Without 'in kind' donations, our job to raise funds for the Hanson Institute would be just that little bit harder.
The Research Fund and Hanson Institute rely heavily on pro bono professional services and the donation of goods in kind such as prizes, catering and event production services is vital to our success.

Collection Tins
Installing a collection tin at your retail outlet or organisation is a simple and easy way for companies and individuals to support the Hanson Institute.
Collection Tins are small enough to be positioned in the most prominent area of your business and feature the Research Fund or Hanson Institute logo. Collection Tins can be delivered to and from your business at your request, and you can nominate how many you would like. Or just drop in and visit our friendly staff.
