FUNDRAISING WISHLIST
Each year the Research Fund is charged with the responsibility to fund new technologies to keep up to date with the needs of our scientists.
With over 300 scientists, researchers and PhD students on campus, there is often a waiting list for some items. In many cases the equipment is slow and inadequate for our ‘cutting edge’ demands.
Government and other grants for salaries and consumables pay the major costs of our research programs, but they rarely include money for equipment.
The only way we can buy the equipment we need is through the generosity and concern of people who, like us, are desperate to cure cancer and other terrible diseases.
Items are expensive but the benefits of the investment in quality of life for every person are immeasurable.
So, we urgently need your help to purchase state-of-the-art equipment that will enable us to keep pace with our latest discoveries.
It is imperative that we maintain and increase our efforts as quickly as possible.
Our wish list is long. More items than we can include here are needed. Please phone the Research Fund on 8222 5281 for more information.
